RF2 Servo Amplifier 48VDC & R2G Servo Motors

SANYO DENKI EUROPE SA. is pleased to introduce the new high performance «SANMOTION RF2 Advanced Model» Servo Amplifiers with 48VDC input voltage. This ultra compact size driver has been designed to improve system miniaturization as requested in semiconductor manufacturing machines, machine tool optional axis or battery driven applications. This driver can be combined with various R2G servo motors from 30W to 200W.

MAIN FEATURES

1) Low voltage input 48Vdc
As motor drive voltage of DC 48V is under the safe voltage, it is easier for user to meet the safety standard and this driver can be used in various fields. Moreover, this driver is suitable for battery driven transport systems, such as clean robots.

2) Compact and Light
A downsizing by approximately 30% has been achieved while maintaining the high performance as our conventional product. With a dimension of 116x30x70mm and mass of 0.23kg, this 48VDC drive is the industry’s top small and light. (As of April 6, 2010, In-house study)

 

3) High Performance - Advanced Control
Equipped with a high-resolution 17 bit serial absolute encoder as standard, the positionning speed of the motors is very fast (4500 rpm to 6000 rpm) and extremely accurate. Speed ripple is greatly reduced and smooth operation, even at low speed, is possible. The frequency response is 1200Hz.
High level functions including a model following control and a vibration suppression control are available and the amplifier can be easily setup with the auto-tuning function.

4) Easy Replacement of stepping motor
Thanks to pulse train input command, equipments driven by conventional stepping motors can easily be replaced with this product, meeting demands for higher equipment performance.
