SANYO DENKI EUROPE SA. is pleased to introduce their « San Ace 60 » WF type oil proof DC fan, measuring 60 mm square by 15 mm thick. This fan has been designed to eliminate the need for constant maintenance and replacement of typical fans used in an oil mist environment like factory automation. This fan enhances the product lineup of WF oil proof fans and endurance fans.

What is oil mist environment ?
Environment where cutting oil scatters in the form of a mist.

Main specifications :

• Size : 60 mm square size by 15 mm thickness
• High static pressure (95 Pa) and large air flow (0,52 m3/min - 18,4 CFM)
• H speed : 6800 rpm
• Rated Voltage : 24 VDC
• Pulse sensor (tachy output) and lock sensor options available
• Oil proof and IP55 waterproof grade
• Expected life 40000 hours (at 60°C with survival rate of 90%)

Product Features :

1) Oil proof structure :

• The stator and the circuit base board of the fan is completely sealed with an oil proof resin.
• The design of blades allow sufficient clearance between the outer circumference of the blades and the inner diameter of the frame, in order to inhibit adhesion of oil mist and dust.

This specific structure provide a significant oil resistant capability : this fan has successfully completed 1000 hours of continuous operation in an oil mist environment.

Oils used for evaluation :
(i) Water-soluble cutting oil Yushiron Cut UX10
(ii) Water-soluble cutting Unisolubre CC H2O (diluted 50 times)

2) IP55 waterproof

Thanks to the oil proof resin, the waterproofing capability is equivalent to IP55 protection grade. This fan maintains
stable operation in harsh environments where the fan is exposed to direct water jets from all angles.

Target Applications :

Servo Amplifiers, inverters, CNC, and various types of factory automation equipments.
