SANYO DENKI EUROPE SA. is pleased to introduce the medium capacity models of 200V Servo Motor «SANMOTION R» Serie. With a compact size, a high torque, a high speed and a low cogging torque, these models meet the market demand for higher productivity efficiency.

Medium inertia motors with 130 mm square flange size
2 models to be combined with 230 VAC R Serie amplifiers
Rated power range : 0,5 kW (2.6 Nm) and 1,2 kW (5.7 Nm) at 2000 rpm
Maximum speed : 5000 rpm
Encoder type : 17-bit (131072 PPR) absolute or incremental, Max. 20-bit (1048576 PPR)
Option : 24 or 90 VDC holding brake
Protection degree : IP 67
Standards : UL, CE

Main features :

1) The world’s smallest size :
With the use of powerful simulation tools, the magnetic circuit and the heat transfer within the R motor have been optimized resulting in an average reduction of 20 % of the length of each model in comparison with previous Q models.

2) High Torque and High Speed :
The maximum instantaneous torque is up to 50% greater than for previous Q models at 3500 rpm, and the maximum rotation speed has been increased by 66% to reach 5000 rpm.

3) Low Cogging Torque :
Thanks to the optimization of the stator core and better precision of the manufacturing process, we achieved a low cogging torque of less than 0,5% at rated torque. Low cogging torque is useful for vibration sensitive applications and improves the precision of the equipment.

Machine tools (CO2/Laser/Plasma cutting, milling, engraving, ...), robots, printing machines, general automation.
